Americans Want Wiretapping

The majority of Americans believe the NSA should be allowed to intercept telephone conversations between terrorism suspects in other countries and people living in the United States. 64% of Americans think this type of spying should be allowed and only 26% of Americans think George Bush is the only president to authorize this type of Spying. Almost 50% of people believe, as they should, that President Bush is not the first president to use this method of surveillance. Rasmussen Poll Result

I expect this poll result to be on the front page of the New York Times. We all know how intensely the Times has been covering the wiretapping of suspected terrorists on their front pages. I suspect, now that the American people have weighed in on the issue, the NY Times will be as adamant with publishing this poll as they were when they revealed covert prisons in Europe and secret CIA plane routes and disclosed how the Government tracks terrorists through wiretapping. Somehow I doubt the Times will run this story...maybe it's just me.

So, it seems the American people aren’t as dumb as most on the left want them to be. Like I have said before, the majority of Americans understand the need to track suspected terrorists. The constant undermining of our terrorist-fighting efforts, that is being perpetrated by the far-left and the media, is dangerous and treasonous. If only we can get mainstream Democrats to come to their senses we might be able to stop the far-left from aiding the enemy.
