Dean: Republicans “Cut and Run” in New Orleans

We "cut and run" in regards to Katrina…is that so, Deany boy? Gee, you got us there. But let me see if I can respond anyway... Once again we see the Democratic Party trying to exploit the death and destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. They have proven that they will stop at nothing to regain power and that includes endangering the nation as seen with the CIA official/ Kerry contributor who leaked Intel to the Washington Post (Story).

You might remember that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee was caught trying to raise political funds by exploiting the deaths of their fellow citizens in the aftermath of Katrina…it was sickening. While people were dying and while the Coast Guard was trying to rescue people Chuck Schumer and the Democrats were only concerned with raising money…and of course blaming the President. They were caught red-handed by the Associated Press using Katrina to raise funds (AP Story). Remember this because anytime you hear anyone like Howard Dean or Chuck Schumer talk about Katrina or the aftermath, you know they are full of S#!t. Now with the truth in mind let’s see what the DNC is planning and saying.

(
Reuters) -The Democrats chose New Orleans for their spring meeting in part to highlight the administration's heavily criticized handling of Katrina, which killed more than 1,300 people, displaced hundreds of thousands of people and shattered New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Dean said Democrats offered values based on community and opportunity and a more inclusive vision for the future.

"I think Americans are tired of being lectured to by Republicans who have brought a culture of corruption, cronyism and incompetence to Washington," he said. "They offer a legacy of more of the same -- deficits, divisiveness and deceit...Republicans have cut and run when it comes to rebuilding the Gulf Coast, and we will not do that." He said voters would judge President George W. Bush's administration and the Republicans on their slow response to Hurricane Katrina and failure to develop a suitable recovery plan.-

The Democrats, after pissing on the faces of the victims of Katrina, now have the audacity to exploit that disaster again! Isn’t it somewhat hypocritical for the Dems to attack the President for doing whatever is necessary to fight the war on terror but at the same time they do whatever is necessary, including betraying the country, to get elected? And Dean mentioned a “culture of corruption”. Did he mean this:
