Triple Threat Saturday

WASHINGTON -- The Army said Friday it surpassed its recruiting goal for May, marking the 12th consecutive month of meeting or exceeding its target.

That’s interesting isn’t it? I wonder why the major liberal blogs have not been reporting on this fact. I know they were all excited when the military was falling short of their recruitment goals. We heard about it 24/7…I guess when the military meets its goals they can’t use that to attack the administration or the war on terror.

Ann Coulter Slams Hillary

After Hillary Clinton attacked Ann Coulter for her remarks about four 9/11 widows and their political motivations, this is how Coulter responded. “Before criticizing others for being ‘mean’ to women, perhaps Hillary should talk to her husband who was accused of rape by Juanita Broderick and was groping Kathleen Willey at the very moment Willey’s husband was committing suicide”

If Hillary wants to go after someone she best think before she acts. Especially when her husband is Bill Clinton.

Kos Clowns Admit They Don’t Support the Troops

All this carefully calculated discussion of Zarqawi’s death is revealing just what a dialectical stranglehold the Right has over us right now. It’s great that a scumbag like that is dead, lord knows he deserves to rot in hell, but do we have to pour it on extra thick just to satisfy the Right’s bloodlust?... As far as wishing the soldiers a safe return, who the hell doesn’t want that? But when it comes to the day-to-day operations of occupation I can’t condone what’s going on over there and I won’t pretend I do."

Support No Troops: “Zarqawi felt my son’s breath on his hand as held the knife against his throat.Zarqawi had to look in his eyes when he did it. George Bush sits thereglassy-eyed in his office with pieces of paper and condemns people to death. That to me is a real terrorist.” —Michael Berg

Those who oppose the war in Iraq but who nonetheless feel compelled to express “support” for “our troops” might reflect that, without those troops, there would be no war. Simply put, if today’s troops would behave only as George II did during his own military service—that is, go AWOL—there would be no one available to prosecute the war.

Many people on the left just can't bring themselves to support the troops. They believe they are a force of the evil American empire. At least now some are willing to admit they never supported nor will they ever support the US service men and women who protect their freedom.
