Protesters Attack Minutemen Founder

Here we go again; another case of the far-left attacking people with whom they disagree. During his speech, Jim Gilchrist co-founder of the Minuteman Project was attacked by a mob of enraged liberals carrying open-border signs claiming that “No one is ever illegal”. I’m not even sure what that means but according to a campus magazine some of the “protesters” rushed the stage and prompted fist-fights between several people.

New York Sun) Students stormed the stage at Columbia University's Roone auditorium yesterday, knocking over chairs and tables and attacking Jim Gilchrist, the founder of the Minutemen, a group that patrols the border between America and Mexico. Mr. Gilchrist and Marvin Stewart, another member of his group, were in the process of giving a speech at the invitation of the Columbia College Republicans. They were escorted off the stage unharmed and exited the auditorium by a back door.

Shockingly, when Mr. Stewart was speaking, some of the activists interrupted him and began calling him a racist and a black white supremacist (yeah, that really doesn't make sense). They interrupted Mr. Stewart, who is African-American, when he referred to the Declaration of Independence's self-evident truth that "All men are created equal," calling him a racist, a sellout, and a black white supremacist. -video of incident below-

It’s another crowning achievement of the education students receive from places like Columbia University. It’s funny how these types of protesters go ballistic, slander people, interrupt events, throw food at speakers, prevent people from exercising their first amendment right to free speech, throw chairs in incoherent tirades, carry signs of complete misguided hate, belong to extremist groups like the International Socialist Organization and the Chicano Caucus, and yet call the organization that is peacfully giving a sophisticated speech, a bunch of Nazi racists.

It’s almost as ironic as Muslims who call for beheadings and who kill people in order to protest the Pope’s critique of the violence in Islam.
